OBJECTIVE & CHARACTERISTICS

          The objective of this department is to create a learning environment so that the students can pass a course which is related to industry 4.0.  The students will have theory as well as practice in the Manufacturing Process.

Characteristics:

  1. Curriculum is geared towards the needs of the students.
  2. The program emphasizes and co-ops to prepare the students for work in the industry.
  3. Practical, first-hand experiences are provided for research, internships, field opportunities, service learning etc.

Facilities

          The laboratory sessions of this department include Robot 3-Axis and 5- Axis, CNC Machining Center, Welding Machines, Automation Control, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, (CIM) Basic Engineering Workshops, CAD,CAM,CAE labs, Modern Metal Forming Machines, Injection Molding Machines, and Blow Molding Machines.
